The Michelsen brothers previously co-founded Twin Buds Painting, overseeing 35,000+ beds consisting of painting and make-ready projects for more than 25 retirement communities. This background established Campus Make Ready’s commitment to delivering high-quality results with operational precision. Their expertise in servicing specialized make-ready markets has positioned Campus Make Ready to lead with exceptional attention to detail, operational excellence, and a client-focused approach.

Daniel Michelsen
Head of Operations - Co-Founder
Daniel Michelsen led the operations at Twin Buds Painting, where he was deeply committed to optimizing processes and ensuring projects were completed efficiently and to the highest standards. His focus on operational excellence meant coordinating teams, managing resources, and continually refining workflows to enhance productivity without compromising quality. Under Daniel’s leadership, the company built a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality make ready services in the retirement community space.
With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from UTSA, Daniel brought a structured and strategic approach to managing complex projects. His obsession with improving operational efficiency and delivering superior service was key to the company’s success. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys running and hiking, and he stays informed by reading about current events. His dedication to operational efficiency and quality continues to drive his work.
David Michelsen
Head of Sales - Co-Founder
David led the sales efforts and business development at Twin Buds Painting, where he focused on acquiring new clients, fostering strong relationships, and driving the company’s growth. As a co-founder, he played a central role in creating tailored solutions for clients, ensuring that their needs were met with exceptional service. His ability to cultivate long-term partnerships helped the company achieve consistent success in a competitive market.
David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from UTSA, where he built the foundational skills that contributed to his sales and leadership approach. Outside of work, David enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving whenever he gets the chance. His favorite part of sales is seeing business relationships evolve over time, turning initial connections into lasting friendships that are both personally and professionally rewarding.
Alejandro Suarez
Senior Account Manager
Alejandro Suarez leads as our Senior Account Manager, where he focuses on discovering new leads, fostering relationships, and driving business growth. Alejandro plays a key role in identifying tailored solutions for clients, ensuring that their needs are met with outstanding service. His ability to nurture long-term partnerships has been instrumental in consistently delivering success.
​Alejandro earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from UTSA, where he developed the foundational skills that contribute to his strategic approach in sales and client management. Outside of work, Alejandro enjoys DJing on the weekends, bringing his passion for music to life. He also loves exploring new adventures and enjoying a few beers at local dive bars.
Sarah Taha
Account Manager
Sarah Taha serves as our Account Manager, where she oversees project success and ensures the satisfaction of student housing complexes. Sarah is responsible for managing her accounts from start to finish, ensuring that each student housing complex is thoroughly satisfied with their outcome. Her attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction make her an invaluable part of the team. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UTSA, where her analytical skills laid the foundation for her strategic approach to managing accounts. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys dancing salsa and tango, adding rhythm and movement to her life. She also loves planting new types of flowers in her garden and going bird watching, connecting with nature whenever she can.
Fufu Taha is an Account Manager, responsible for overseeing the success of her accounts and ensuring that each student housing complex is satisfied with the outcomes of their projects. Like her sister Sarah, Fufu manages her accounts from start to finish, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction. Fufu earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from the University of Texas at Austin, where she developed a passion for detail and precision that translates into her work. Outside of her professional life, Fufu enjoys taking her dog, Schnitzel, on adventures, whether hiking in the great outdoors or simply relaxing together at the park.
